Sesame Asparagus


At less than 50 calories per serving, less than 15 minutes to cook, and loaded with potassium, this asparagus is a great accompaniment to any dinner.


  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 pound thin asparagus, trimmed and cut diagonally into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar


Heat oil in a large, nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add asparagus and stir-fry until it begins to soften, 1 1/2 to 2 minutes.
Add soy sauce and stir-fry for 1 minute. Add sugar and stir-fry another 30 seconds. Remove from heat and serve.
